Matt Velardi attended his first American Physical Society Global Summit in Denver Colorado, presenting a contributed talk titled “Spiraling together: Inducing aggregation in simulated microscopic robots through communication using excitable dynamics.” Good work Matt!
The Drexel Physics department hosted Texas A&M professor Tatiana Erukhimova for the 25th annual Kaczmarczik Lecture, attended by over 700 local area high-schoolers. Matt bravely joined the dynamo onstage to lend a hand with her entertaining demos. Thanks Matt!
